Local Government Transparency Code 2015

Helsby Parish Council meets the definition of a local authority covered by the requirements of the Code, defined as a ‘Parish Council which has gross annual income or expenditure (whichever is higher) exceeding £200,000′.   Full details of the Code can be found on the Government’s website: Local Government Transparency Code.

The Code requires local authorities in England to publish the following information quarterly:

·       Expenditure Exceeding £500 (see below)

·       Government Procurement Card transactions (not applicable)

·       Procurement information (see below)

 

Additionally, local authorities are required to publish the following information annually:

·       Local Authority Land (see asset register)

·       Social Housing Assets (not applicable)

·       Grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (see below)

·       Organisational Chart (not applicable as only one member of staff)

·       Trade union facility time (not applicable)

·       Parking account (not applicable)

·       Parking spaces (not applicable)

·       Senior salaries (not applicable as no employees whose renumeration is at least £50,000)

·       Constitution (see Standing Orders, Financial Regulations and Internal Financial Controls, and Code of Conduct)

·       Pay multiple (not applicable as only one member of staff)

·       Fraud (not applicable)
